Why blog this?

I am not computer literate. I don't facebook (Susan and Morgon do), twitter or even text; but with luck in a few short weeks we will be living in cramped quarters off the western coast of Mexico. I expect communication with family and friends will be a little more challenging and hope that this will allow them to feel a little more in touch; and if we are successful in this endeavor maybe others will see how we did it, decide to cut their ties to the real world and run away (scratch that), run to life as well.
