On the Oregon Coast

We are learning to roll with the punches. It is now November 11th and it will be at least another three weeks before we are able to fly out. That puts our schedule out by over seven weeks all together. We are all a little disappointed, we have a plan and are ready to go but Murphy keeps messing with us.
Once the whining was out of the way we took a reality check and counted our blessings. We stayed the first month at Susans sisters place in Grants Pass Oregon and while that was great; her sister was a wonderful hostess; we thought we had better move on before we wore out our welcome. We headed to the coast and found a great off season deal on a one bedroom cabin with a loft in Bandon. Our days are spent exploring the beaches, at the game farm or crabbing and we are eating like kings! Dinner last night was crab, mussels clam chowder and halibut cheeks (my Dads favorite) and breakfast was pan fried oysters on toast.
I’m getting hungry again.
